Advice on Doberman Dogs Please

Our daughter is moving house in October from a flat and they want to buy a Doberman Bitch puppy, I asked the questions , you have a grand to spare then! Dont think she thought they were that much - Any ideas on South -west breeders would be great- they've tried a few web sites but drawn a blank - so a friend of a friend scenario would be nice - cheers Mart and Sue

Go and have a word with the vet practices they usually know all of the reputable breeders. Another option is to look at the rescue website, a lot of dogs are abandoned especially now with the credit crunch - the local rescues could help or a great website to even get information on the breed is www.dobermannwelfare.org.uk/
