Mike think yourself lucky you have had your little one at home until now. Here in wales they start school a year younger than in England. My little one will be three in October and will start school after the october half term! Personally i think it is too young but ALL the kids start as soon as they are 3 here. He will go full time at christmas  Debs x |

Too young  if i had my way they would be up the chimney at the age of four earning their keep. my little monster would have her own company by now if it wasn't for all the child protection stuff that forbids us to make use of children in the work force  on a serious note, i was really proud of her efforts at nursery the other day. the staff started to write the kids names for them to copy in preparation for school. while they were busy doing that Chloe had already written her name and added...loves alex ali and dad x alex is her brother, ali is her mum when the nursery staff told me about it i started to show off (like i do). i asked her what 3 + 4 equals. the expression on her face is great when she works it out in her head. she is doing loads of sums in her head and gets most of them right. She's ready for school ;D |
