Top night at Keele on Saturday, great to see everyone.
Pros : Good Tea, Capacity, Great People, Extensive Facilities, Lots of Record Dealers, Good Music
Some people commented about the lack of modern spins in the main room (there was a modern room but it only had a handful people in it). I neither saw that as a Pro or Con really - lots of lesser known 6Ts stuff, wide variety.
Cons : Mens Toilets, Sound System (sound quality varied a lot over the night), Took 13 Hours To Get Home, Lots of Record Dealers
All in all a great night - it was a lot of effort, but it feels worth it...now. I was beginning to wonder some time around 5pm yesterday after hours of suffering at the hands of the rail network. Got back to Cornwall, nobody has any petrol locally - my Dad had to pick me up because he was the only person with fuel. Happy Fathers Day!

WTF is going on?! Getting home was like a sequence from a Mad Max film. I spent half an hour on the floor in front of a toilet...for my £42 ticket!! Both trains were delayed and the second train had 4 carriages, yet it went from Manchester to Penzance!
If the trains worked we could all go to soul doo's on them - the problem is at the moment they're so unreliable that we'd probably never make it there, or not make it back (it was getting that way for me yesterday). I've read many stories about soulies going to Wigan on the train from all over the country, you couldn't do that now - not with any assurances that you were going to make it/return on time.

Regardless, it was great to see so many mates. Special mention for Steve & Ker for being stars, giving me a lift and helping me sort shit out to get home. Thanks!!!
