The afternoon was fairly quiet but by 9.00pm the club was full. Lots of interesting music played to a knowledgable crowd. I only managed two dances as was in charge of the raffle, my glamorous assistants helped, bring me vodka, Lindsay was a tyrant with the change bucket bringing back £20 notes! By 1.00am we were all tired out but so happy as the total raised on the night was £2,272. The raffle made £812. Thanks to Sean Chapman and lots of others too many to mention. The Air Ambulance are thrilled as the soulies showed such generosity. If Nige had been there he would have loved it. The DJ's played the songs he liked, Petes choice was 'Can't get over these mammeries!' as Nige called it. Thanks everyone. love cathy.

I believe there will be a proper write up and photos on Soul Source, I didn't have time to do much as busy extracting money from people. Lovely to see you on the motoway even though it was just a wave. Hope your week-end went well.

I had to leave Brutus bucket behind complete with loads of sticky change due to a lager accident, say no more.
