Bournemouth Railway Club 27/10/07
What a night! Busy feet were gliding & stomping through the talc ridden dancefloor as the crowd enjoyed another night of Soul at the Bournemouth Railway Club.
Having undergone a fairly recent steroid epidural for back problems, it would have been wise to sit back and enjoy the tunes in the comfort of a chair. Not a chance! Nik McAvoy had me bopping my socks off. I've not seen or heard him since the days when he DJ'd at the Yate All-nighter, so it was great to hear him play again. He had the place rocking - and the dancefloor must have taken at least two tubs of talcum powder to keep up with the pace. This was the biggest crowd I have seen at the Railway Club and I can only hope that all those who traveled, both near & far, enjoyed themselves as much as I did.
Big thanks to Nik for his sets & Mark Jones (Jonah) for putting it all together.
