Well what can I say but what a fanastic Night with over 100 in attendance. We, like a lot of people were wondering how the snow would effect us. we had people come from Wales and the Midlands. Hope you all got back ok. Unfortunately Ginger Taylor could not get down from Yorkshire because of the weather but we had a bonus in that Dr Pickles suddenly appeared at the door, saying he could not get past the M42 on his way to Derby Allnighter. So with his record box in hand I quickly offered him a double decking spot with me at 12.So I like to think the folk had a treat with a repeat of our Bridgwater double decking session at Bridgwater last month. Glad you brought the Gene Toones with you Chris.
The last hour was another treat with Des and leon playing some top tunes to a healthy dance floor until the management put the lights on at 2. Some nice comments from the regulars and Newies about the venue in how friendly the Riverside crowd are. saturday was especially so with a real party atmosphere and lots of smiling faces. A big thanks also to all of the DJs and especially our guests Bob Cornock and Dr, Pickles.
So onto our next event at Riverside on the 7th April with Mick H as the guest plus one more to be added.
Regards
Mike
