Dean, Thanks for posting. Your views are most welcome. I am naturally a little concerned that there are still areas we need to work on. Hope you not mind me responding to some of your points which i believe need some clarification. Hope it mitigates somewhat at some of the areas you identify with. First of all I Would like to thank the DJ's for their sets, the doorstaff, Cathy for the lollies and everyone who came. A good turnout considering the scooter rally where i know quite a few went to from the local scene. Also other nighters and events in the Country. Music Policy - I am happy with the choice of DJ's who play to on the whole what it says on the tin. We do not seek to emulate any other venue and put our own stamp on it. I am not looking for the standard same same formula and like DJ's such as pete to push the bounaries. However, the tin does say In demand Monsters and nighter tunes. In the main room thats what folk come to hear. The they also have a choice of having a shifty into Room 2, currently anyway. Apart from Pete I though Ted massey and Sean in particular did cracking sets. I received and continue to receive positive comments about the sets on Friday/saturday night. A poster has commented on another soul site to that effect. Unfortunatel Mick H did not show. He is working in Aberdeen and was due to arrive at East Midlands Airport at 11pm and the venue for around 1am. He did not show or answer any telephone calls. Not sure what you mean about Bingo, etc. For various reasons it was decided to finish around 6am and not go on until 6.30. Not helped by the main guest not showing. I was waiting for my taxi for 10 minutes and did not get any indication of pressure being applied on people. The staff have to clear up and the equipment packed and loaded. Must admit i was surprised about the numbers that were in the room when the lights came on and should have gone on longer but the club had made me agree to an earlier finish sometime before. Admit i got that one wrong....Sorry people. Think in future i will specify a 6 am finish and continue as before until around 6.15. That way we have the scope and will get club to go along with that. I did notice 2 woman, one with a big handbag standing near to your group at one point in the evening. I told them to get off the dance floor with their drinks, which they immediately did. The group at the front of the stage who were there at some point do not come across as soulies but they have started to come to all of my venues. They are showing interest and it will take time for them to either become dedicated soulies or drop by the wayside. Suppose we all had to start somewhere!. One area that needs to be addressed is the lights in the stage area. I have taken those comments onboard from your group. That will be addressed for the next one on November 26th. Dean, please feel free to PM me or give me a call on 0773901361 if you wish to discuss any issues with me. My intention is to continue for this venue to be the best Nighter in the area if not the Country. The same applies to anyone else who wishes to raise a point with me privately. Once again, thanks dean for your points and they are taken onboard. Mike

Really enjoyed the night, friendly atmosphere - lots of laughs and dances. The energy drink seemed to work but a certain person has some Rattler for me which could make me dance like the devil. Great that 'The Promoter' is listening to all the feed back - now that doesn't happen very often. Looking forward to November.
WE MADE THE FAITH - YOU KEEP IT!

have spoken to Mick H this morning and he could not make the venue as he is working in scotland and his train was delayed for over 3 hours. He did text one of my gang but for some reason I was not given the message. Will get him back for 2011 for sure.

I never make it to the end either Steph. - maybe try more of that energy drink next time as I gather the line up will be second to none.
