ABSOLUTLY BLOODY FABULOUS NIGHT!!!!! Every D.J. was spot on for me but the one that really impressed me was MATT from Trowbridge. Every record he played was my cuppa tea. Cathy and Pete you really do go all out to make sure everyone enjoys their night. GREAT HOSTS, MUCH APPRECIATED. See you soon. x

Also as expected.....the company was second to none, could not ask for a better bunch of people to share a night out with, thanks to all the 'usuals' and everyone else I got to speak to...it was a pleasure. Thanks to matt and andy for the cd's and to the people who put the lovely things that I went home with on the freecycle table. To mart, bev, ron and pete......Glad you made it to ours in the end ;D steve

Really enjoyed the night, friendly crowd, great music and atmosphere.
Thanks to Cathy and Pete for the invite to play some tunes and for your hospitality both before and at the event. Like others I too thought all of the DJ's complemented each other. Some big tunes and cheap ones too. Loved the Comment from Mick Lloyd. "your best tune was only a £10 record: Tammi Terrell 'come on and see me". Am sure not a literal fact but I know what he meant. Good one to throw in at the end of a set as tends to get a reaction as has been proved.
Will be away on the soul cruise for the next one but will be at the one after that.
Hope to catch up with lots of you at the next Gloucester allnighter on May 7th.

Big thanks to eveyone for Saturday night
all the attendees from near and far - we appreciate you making the effort
all the d-j's for working together and ' going for it '

Well what can we say.Yet another cracking Bridgwater soul night has been and gone.Left the south coast at around 6pm for the approx 2 hour drive across country.Got there as Dr Pickles was already on the decks doing his 1st spot and people already dancing.Next up was Matt playing a few different tunes from last week at The Uni.Mike and then Pete kept the dancefloor going. Great 2nd spots from all the dj's (sorry couldn't stay for your last spot Pete). Was good to meet up with lots of the south west soulies and have a chat. Good to see Steve Godfrey,Martin,Dr Pickles & Lou,Mick Lloyd,Jeff,Mick & Andrew. As always Bridgwater does what it says on the tin and there's always a warm welcome on the door. All in all another great night and well worth the extra half hour detour provided by Dorset County Council on the way back by closing off the A35 halfway up the Dorchester by-pass and sending all traffic via Blandford.
Dave.
