Today would have been Shorty's birthday - dob 20.5.1940. He was taken from us at the age of 29 after a boating accident on the Detroit river. At his funeral Stevie Wonder played harmonica and put it in Shorty's casket before they buried him. My favourite song is Devil with the Blue dress closeley followed by Function at the Junction.
