Whilst numbers were slightly down it was a great night , with a crowd up for it. The floor was full for the great majority of the time. Some great sets, especially from Pete on his first spot at Riverside which will not be his last.Loved the Traditions and Unique Blend. That is one record I would love to have, Got the Kent version with the Houston Outlaws on, but only for playing at home Lol. great set as usual from Des Parker, I never tire of Ray Agee. Also the residents did their usual great spots. Good to see lots of old and familiar faces. Adam from Chippenham on his first visit along with John Weston, Ted Massey, Mike Wilkes, Jerry Hipkiss and Dean from Brizz. Cathy, Was impressed with your staying power on the dancefloor. Photos on my website and hope to get some playlists up later.

Great night at The Riverside. I like the crowd's chatty friendly attitude and that extends to if they are interested in what you are playing they come up and tell you!
Glad Dean enjoyed The Parisians, got good feedback on Vicki Styles - The tears wont stop falling, the Edwin Starr LP track, I just wanted to cry and especially Lennie Williams - I couldn't find nobody. Although there is a lot more work to do into getting The Terrible Frankie Nieves - True Love to get more popular I will sick with it - I think it's a beauty.
Pleased to see everyone on Saturday both old and new faces. Well done Mike. The Riverside goes from strength to strength, so that's two great events at two seperate Riversides on Saturday!!
Pete.

Only kidding Pete, great to see you guys. I'm turning back into an old dinosaur what with this, and Porthcawl the following week! Still, I had fun.

I think it must be Eugene's influence Mike - my legs are still sore from all the dancing I did.
