We have all heard of the social network sytems we have on the internet nowadays, Facebook, Freinds Reunited, MySpace etc...

Well, I have got an account on Facebook (it took a while for me to get used to it, especially as I kept getting MySpace confused with Facebook and was asking people to come on MyFace). Anyway I digress.....

Facebook has a lot of groups you can join on there - some of which can be very useful. For example, the youtube vids made for Bridgwater get posted in the 'Northern Soul' groups - reaching an audience of soulies that number into the hundreds.

While searching the groups I came across one that I thought I would share with you on here....it made me laugh ;D

Group: NFB

Doctors at Musgrove Park hospital in Taunton, Somerset, have a code they write on the notes of patients from Bridgwater that are obviously mentally disturbed but otherwise difficult to specifically diagnose. It's NFB... Normal for Bridgwater... When Dr Phil Hammond first disclosed this fact on national radio it caused an outcry.

If you consider yourself 'Normal For Bridgwater' (or 'abnormal' by the criteria above) then this is the group for you!




I'm sure I have NFB on my medical records and I don't even live there

Not just the hospital Mike also at the doctors surgery. Trying to remedy the situation by playing everyone great soul music. As I am originally from Manchester does that make me exempt.

I would think that would make you exempt, although not being a medical expert I couldn't be sure if you can catch it through osmosis ;D
