It's fairly simple, although it takes a little time to convert lots of records. you need: phono jack lead - one end to plug in the 'out' from your amplifier (headphone socket would probably work just as good). Other end plugs in comp. a recording programme on your computer: I use cooleditpro. thats it if you get the equiptment and are still unsure how to do it, we can speak on phone and i'll talk you through - it will be easier than trying to explain in messages regards, mike

Then just stick onto your comp and transfer to memory stick. Memory stick works great in my car plus saves carrying loads of cd's. Need to chat more speak to myself or Moldie at The Loft Bar @ Bournemouth Uni on Feb 14th. Dave.

Dave. not sure you've got the jist of it dave - he wants VINYL transfered - not CD to memory stick. give me a shout Andy - it's very simple and takes the same amount of time by a recording programme on comp as it does with a turntable/USB lead. I can supply you with the recording programme free of charge and bobs your uncle. the advantage of recording programme is you can remove clicks, pops, hiss etc with the click of a mouse
