Have to say I'm glad you guy's started this post, make's my life easier as one of the promoter's not to "big up" our own venue. Your comment's make great reading and really appreciate the feedback so far. Dance floor reaction to the record's we all played was blinding, I think it finally prove's our point that we don't need to have "name" dj's to enjoy ourselve's. I'm hoping to put together the playlist's tonight & post them up tomorrow evening.

What a great night. As a dancer I thought the venue and especially the floor were fantastic. Just loved the Art deco ballroom with that low ceiling that kept the buzz directed at the dancefloor. Brilliant tunes that had me dancing to all of the DJ's sets. As a DJ, I had a brilliant time up there. A real joy to play for such an enthusiastic crowd. We've been spending more and more time in the SW with nights like Exeter and Bridgwater and the crowds are some of the friendliest, up for it people we've met. Big thanks to Mick and Ken for asking me down, I loved it.
See you at the Xmas nighter on Dec 20th. Doc

Just to echo the words that have already been said i thoroughly enjoyed this one, it was my first time Djing at Hip huger and what a great crowd that made that the job pretty easy for all of us.
Good to grab a couple of words with Dr Pickles (Great spots by the way)no doudt we'll meet again soon and grab a beer. Also just like to say a big thanks to Mick & Ken you deserve all the great feedback you've received for this event well done your hard work is appreciated.
To answer Soul762 question theres good news and bad news It was the recent Jerry Williams cover up by Tommy & the Derbys on swing and its called Dont play the role and is also one of my own personal favs, the bad news is theres only a handful of known copies so chances of getting one is remote and theres no cd release either so your have to turn up in December to here it again ,as mick & Ken are having me back for the nighter and Im looking forward to it already.
Best Darren
