AT FUNERALS what a flippin waste of money they are !!! I went round and picked some of them up, and they are sitting in a vase in my front room, ( my mums ) no one elses, As we left the church yard a truck was going around scooping up the flowers and ditching them, amazing, Theres got to be a better a way

Hi Jo, Hope your ok?? This is a difficult one, you feel you have to buy them as a mark of respect. I did the same for my dad when he died, then the family and cemetary clubbed together and bought a memorial bench for people to sit on and admire the views from the cemetary as it overlooks the pennines. The strange thing was, he was the head of the Crematorium so he spent every day at the cemetary and saw how people greived, and as he put it remember me with the good times we had and not with the nice flowers you've bought. It still don't bring them back, but it helps a little. Thinking of you Lee n Tess
