well the day has finaly arrived - at 1pm today i get a steriod epidural to try and sort my back out ;D
i have been slowly going out of my mind with boredom back to work tomorrow - [glow=red,2,300]hooray[/glow]

for reasons i wont go into - i dont get pain killers, so i have been limited to what i can do. walking worsens it so for the most part i have been sat around like a numptie. like an idiot i did try and have a dance at the plymouth soul night - and suffered badly for several days after

i cant say i am not nervous about the injection - i am put in a position with my head near the floor and my ass stuck in the air - then the doctor shoves a ruddy great needle into the coxis

i had one last september and the doctor tells me this second one should sort the problem out - so here's hoping

Well we have enjoyed your postings Mike while you have been 'Numptying', you have kept us entertained. Hope you back improves so we can see you whirling once more round the floor!

dont know if back ok yet? still queezy from doctors - hope that is the last time i have that done - really blooming felt it this time

but this is different to the ones women have the man one is the painful one of the two; i thought everyone knew that

i best stop there. i got into trouble before about the birth pain thing. while my partner was having our daughter i had the thought that she should stop screaming and making a fuss - as i had had more trouble passing wind ;D

the trouble was it wasn't just a thought - before i knew it i had actually uttered the words

so the saga continues.

just been up to the back specialist again for a check up.

he told me, "you are very twisted" and, "you are definitely not right Mike". Now I thought this was a bit personal! I have had mates say similar things for many years - but to have my doctor say it....

Off to see another specialist in 2 weeks where I will get another steriod epidural and am being sent for an MRI scan. I have to face up to it - I am now officially an Old Git
