Me & Eddie Parker. here's my story: attending a weekender, he was on stage singing 'love you baby' while i sat on stage in front of him. considering this was my favourite record for many years, can you imagine my joy when he put the mic to my face and i got to sing a bit of the song with him!!!! many years later i got a copy of the filming of that night (courtesy of pete smith). you can see Eddie drop the mic down and you can hear my screams of 'you know i love you baby' - but i am not in the picture and yes, i may have had too much caffeine or something that night and here's one of me and Marv Johnson - just chillin'

...and this is moments after. It looks like he realised letting me sing with him was not such a good idea

thanks Ian Twas a brilliant time - Eddie Parker, Marv Johnson, Lorriane Chandler, Betty Lavette (she was singing 'Let me down easy' in tha last photo - really giving it some), Ray Pollard - crowd lapt him up, I wasn't so keen (even when he sang 'Drifter'. There may have been others but memory fails me I'll have to get the DVD out and have a look
