We watched the brit awards yesterday, there was one catagory which had us falling about in laughter as Tony and i didn't know a single nomination 
The artists had names that sounded like people i went to school with ;D
We sat through it all, and didn't hear one song , we liked, or even thought was ...ok
are we alone
I realise i have become my dad, he used to watch Top of the pops with me when i was a girl, and used to take the mick out of everyone, especially through the glam rock years, he would cry with laughter, bless him.
I did notice that the 60s seem to influence the dress style, the Kaiser chiefs wore suits and thin ties and had a beatles look about them, Amy winehouse, with her version of a bee hive, and the girls in the orchestra also, Mica had drain pipe trousers on, just a shame theres no melody any more
