Sorry for being a numpty like but as everyone knows im a bit of an oldie playing freak ;D but ive had stashed away a 7" that ive played the b side & im sure ive heard it played at a soul doo before but cant swear on it so has anyone ever heard/played @ a soul doo: B: Side = Leroy Osbourne - Never let you go (Excaliber records) a:side is Nothing stronger than our love (crap 80s song) but as i say b side i thinks o.k,so let me know boys & girls if its a player or a give to the kids to frisbee @ the garden shed ;D

Took me a while to find the 45."Never Let You Go" was originally a 45 for Savanna on UK R&B Records with Leroy Osbourne on lead vocals. It is the same track as the Excaliber 45.I think the 80's crap a-side needs to be listened to again cos it could turn out to be the better track.Hope this is of some use to you .

i have to agree there certainly are thousands of better records out there, but i have also heard alot worse played out.....and some of those do not even come close to being a 'soul' record.Cant say i find it overly offensive though........or perhaps i'm a secret linx fan ,to each their own i suppose. if anyone else gets to hear said record and finds it that bad, you are more than welcome next time you see me to kick me square in the nuts for thinking it was 'nice enough'... ;D steve
