"unless you actually went, unless you'd been there and seen it - nobody can ever appreciate what...just what it was like...what the atmosphere was like" Quote taken from 'Part 8'

Mike I never went to Wigan but I can appreciate how you feel as I feel the same about The Wheel. Last night at The Riverside I was introduced to a guy who lived just up the road from me in the 60's and 70's and we spent a lot of the night going over all the clubs we went to having not realised that we had trodden the same ground at the same time - wonderful stuff. We were lucky enough to have had these experiences that some did not have - wherever you went in the past and go to in the future the music will stay IN OUR SOUL - KTF.

I loved the Ritz in Manchester too Julie - nobody ever says they didn't have a good time there do they. Nowdays I prefer the smaller venues on a regular basis and then going to the bigger event occasionally.
