Im taking the missis & kids to Dartmouth for a week this saturday,as we got a cheap chalet offered us 
That means i wont be on-line for a week,and saturday what Soul on the Sea is on means ill be bringing family back to newquay sat/afternoon drop em off then travel over to Bournemouth for the soul on the sea doo 
So i dont know who's going?
But i will be there hopefully if my latest VW T4 goes o.k
Hopefully see some of you there on Sat 23rd
and look after the forum for me

Was a good night,some great Soul was played and had a good atmosphere and setting i thought we did get a few non-soul people come in and a few folk tank'd up but it still was a great night i thought

hi Karen. there was about 100 people there, not bad for his first one. the guy who organised it was taking photos with his phone so i will ask him if he can email them to pip (cause i dont know how to upload  ). it was a great venue with a fair sized wooden dance floor and plenty of seating all around. the sound system was fantastic (10k apparently but i'm ignorant to what that means - only that is sounded good). some of the old poole crowd showed up - nigel clark, connie gorden, benjie, danny loveland, gloria gorden etc.. i had a great time. i spent all day saturday with my daughter and grandson, and had the bonus of the gig in the evening. spent a bit of time with my sister & mum on the sunday morning before heading back to plymouht.
i cant speak for anyone else but i had a fabulous weekend
